In December 2016 I wrote: “After 3 months of travel I have finally had a chance to catch my breath, get reorganised and prepare for the next chapter in my life’s journey, whatever or wherever that may be. When we let go, our path and the lessons that guide us are often unexpected. I have learnt to trust and believe that our Creator and the universe gives us what we need, when we need it, often in magical ways. We only need to listen. My mind may sometimes argue, but everything is as it is meant to be.”
At that time, my collection of flutes was 26. It is the same time of year. Again I have an opportunity to reflect, and catch my breath. The next chapter is only a moment away. The number of flutes has grown to 56. Each has its own story and song. That it was born and crafted to play. Some are destined to go to students, current or future. Some have been received as gifts, and will always be carried close to my heart. Others are available for sale or will find another magical way to end up in the hands of the person it was always destined to be with. And of course, as this journey continues, one day there may be more. Or less. Either way I will have become wiser and much richer for the experience.
I also wrote: “I am but a messenger of the wind, speaking back to nature, sometimes mimicking and letting it know that we do hear – always learning. I plan to be returning to India shortly to take up an opportunity to study further with a master and continue to do whatever or go wherever I am meant to be. “
Wishing you all a blessed end to this year and celebration into the new. As always, I love you and hope to see you soon.
