BAMBOO ALCHEMY and BANSURI SOUTH AFRICA (www.bansuri.co.za) – I share and showcase my love of the bansuri as a flautist, teacher, and student of Indian classical music through the bansuri, the Indian bamboo flute. Based just outside Cape Town, South Africa, my musical path bridges continents and traditions.

My journey into Indian classical music began in 2017 with immersive study at Vrindaban Gurukul in Mumbai under the guidance of the legendary Pandit Hariprasad Chaurasia. Further, I graduated via the online Indian Classical music hub, iSM Circle, and continue my studies today—both online and in person—with senior disciples of Pandit Hariprasad Chaurasia, following the guru-shishya tradition.
Grounded in the discipline of raga and inspired by the sounds of South Africa, my music is a fusion of classical form and personal expression.
