Love

Stop loving it!

We have become very flippant with the singularly most powerful word of our language. Today we love all objects, clothes, and food equally one moment and change our minds on a whim or in a moment. Every day we forget over and over what love is or maybe the truth is we never knew.

In Sanskrit there are 96 words for love. In ancient Persian there are 80. In Greek there are three. In English there is only one. In this language one word which holds so much power has been diluted and it’s meaning lost.

Please stop loving it!

The word love has it’s own power. It is a place, a feeling and the word has evolved from the beginning.  The word love is stronger than any other word as it’s intent is inherently part of its expression. And intent means everything. The word love includes intent. So we cannot love our iPhone today and love it less tomorrow despite a newer model been on the market.  We cannot love our food and consume it with the knowledge it is possibly not the best thing for us. Love has become an object and our well meant, but commercially driven (here’s a clue) intention of sharing love is simultaneously destroying love.

So for now, if you do not understand the power of the word love and it’s intent, try and like things first. Here’s a pretty flower. <3 <3 <3
